    Question Bushcraft Music

Do you have certain tunes that you enjoy when outdoors, walking or in the woods sometimes? Don't get me wrong most of the time I enjoy the soundtrack of Nature, but occasionally I enjoy some tunes round the campfire.

Have you seen the film Into the Wild? If you enjoyed it and liked the soundtrack, just to let you know there's an album for it called: "Into the Wild" by Eddie Vedder. If you have Spotify installed this link should open it for you, or you can search for it on iTunes.

Also lately I've been enjoying a lot of Tom Dale, a local busker down here in Cornwall who plays lapslide steel guitar, harmonica & more. Thanks to Phil & Matt for introducing me to him.

I love blues'y harmonica when I'm round the campfire

Just found a new artist on Spotify that has some tracks I'm liking, Bon Iver.

So what music do you enjoy when out?

Harmonica is a great instrument for when you are out and about. It's doesn't take to long to learn and sounds very satisfiying.
Do you want to be happy or do you want to be normal?

Im a big fan of Kate Rusby (the Barnsley canary) traditional folk singer although she did duet with Ronan Keating on his single 'All over again'. She sang some of the music in the TV series 'Sharpe'

heres some links to her music

Songs From The Wood by Jethro Tull surely is the most appropriate of all. I would listen to music in the woods but it would just end up being drowned out by the noise of rotary and fixed wing operations round here.
