    Campsites that allow fires

Just found this site and thought others may find it of interest.

We recently purchased a book titled 'Devon for Kids' that contains a whole load of info on things to do and places to go. It also contains the details of numerous campsites also stating which ones allow camp fires. Details are also given for Dartmoor and Exmoor. They also have titles for Cornwall, Dorset New Forest & Isle of Wight, Lake District and general info for Britain and Europe.

Just checked out their website http://www.footprinttravelguides.com/live/index.php and they have books for everywhere!

It looks like Exmoor's ablaze on the map.

Looking through all three sites, I'd say Martin's original link had the easiest to use, easiest to understand, map. Good work.

I've stayed here earlier this year when I did Snowdon it has to be one of the most picturesque I been too and they allow fires if you buy their wood ! (joint 1st with the campsite in Boot at the foot of Scarfel but no fires.)

just one point can be quite breezy off of the lake so pick a sheltered spot!
If it can't be carried it aint needed
