I think not, I have a witness.
We spent a lovely afternoon up the Luxulyan valley in Prideaux woods yesterday, during the walk as we passed under the old railway/viaduct we heard the unmistakable cry of a CUCKOO!! I was quite astounded by this as it's the earliest in the year I've ever heard one, three times it called and then silence for the rest of the day. I thought "Aww he's shagged himself out with all that racket and gone to nick someones nest for a kip."

Any one else heard one yet?
