    Pignuts?

    Hi,
Was hoping you could all help, espically those from Ipswich.
I've been out on the hunt for a pignut for some time now but never managed to find one unfortunately.
I have a rough idea of what I'm looking for but that's only from photos from the internet and various bushcraft video's, including Ray Mears.
I was wondering if anyone could help with any tips on where would be good places to look? What to look for? Etc etc.
And if your from Ipswich, have you found any around here? If so, where abouts.

    Thanks,

Tony mate, are you not thinking about cob nuts.
You should find them on the edge of woddland or rough pasture, meadows. Not sure if the plant will be showing yet ?

No, don't think so, I think it's maybe because it's a mature plant in the tutorial and mine where just fresh grown, here's a link to wikipedia on pignuts, enlarge the pic in the link to see what the leaves look like when young.

Would it be alright if I saved this photo for my collection. It's one of the most clearest pictures I've seen! Nice to be able to see the leafs of a young plant should greatly help.
