Only up the road from me. Was in Filey
Yup like to keep it simple. East coast gets you some stunning sunrises.
Only thing that's not shown in the pic is my Dutch poncho.
This is my Bushcraft bag/day bag. It's around 15 litre. On the right is my sleep system which is carried over my shoulder when I'm staying out....
That looks superb. I know a few people that have done a similar mod to the Polish poncho sets by adding a centre section but this looks way better.
Thank you for posting as it has now given me...
Splitting kindling one evening and a wee slip. 4hours in hospital and three stitches later. No major damage but can't straighten my finger properly now. ...
If for any reason you change your mind and decide to post I will take it from you.
I made the fatal mistake of forgetting to clean mine after cooking in it, was in the garage for about a month.
Took mine to work and bead blasted it, came up like new. Now I remember to clean it...
How do you find the Enzo Trapper. Mine felt very short in the handle. Nice knife but was put off by the handle.
I alternate between
A Mark Hill Custom S4
A Mark Hill Croc
And a FGYT DSP in carbon fibre.
I will be there.
If you want an alternative to the DD(very happy with mine in all conditions) is the Tatonka poly cotton

Much of the time I only carry a Mora 106 around my neck. It does most of the tasks needed of a knife. If I know I'm going to do some wood prep for a fire I will then carry an axe, the size of axe...
The Wychwood Sloace is a nice little shelter and can be set low if needed.
Yeah I have the heavy ground sheet for the Nash titan.
The groundsheet from my fishing bivvy weighs almost 5kilo.
Seen it done but wouldn't risk a fire near them.
One of mine was a little too close

Stove depends on what I'm doing.
If out for a walk I take my Jetboil as it's quick easy and don't get funny looks.
If out fishing I take my storm kettle, feeding it gives me something to do when...
Looks ok but is it a one size fits all.
No adjustable back or made in different back lengths.
For a largish pack that could be damned uncomfortable when loaded.
I use an old aluminium arrow shaft. This also allows me to push/move pieces of wood that are burning.
I have two, one around 12" long that fits in a side pouch and another 24" long that goes in...
Black.
Now that is heartening news indeed
Not seen those before. Will have a look and thanks for that.
A couple of the disposable hand warmers dropped into your boots when you first wake up will take the chill off them ready for you to get them on.
Sleep with you stoves fuel inside your bag. Even...
Hi Steve, you still got some pics of the big one you did for the park?
