I didn't really look for fur, I must admit. The thing that made me think rabbit was the droppings near the entrance, and the size of the "hole", which was only around 6 inches across. I shall return...

Went to a local woods the other day, and found a few burrows, which I think are rabbit, as they don't seem big enough for badgers setts. What do you make of them Paul?

Am I correct in thinking the faster the animal is moving, the more of a direct reg, but the further apart the actual prints left?
