As David says, it's usually best to leave as much as you can, until you need some. This fungi takes a long time to grow.

That makes sense. They are less likely to class it as a concealed weapon too, if there is such an offence in the UK legal system.

The fact they are fixed blades (even though they are tiny) automatically makes them illegal to carry in the UK. If they were designed purely for self...

You're probably right for the most part, but it can depend a lot on the location, as well as general appearance of the individual/s. Officers will...

Hi Iain, thanks for your message, I've had a couple of nights out, but not a great deal these last few months, been out for the day/evening quite a bit. Had the little ones out shelter building and I've been doing a lot more green wood work - kuksa, spoons etc.. How about yourself?

Iain, I've answered your question on the main forum, which is the best place for it so that everyone can easily see our conversation. The yellow box of tricks is a Garmin Etrex H which is a great little gps device. It's a no frills attached gps which tells you where you are, where you've been and where you're going next. It doesn't have any built in maps or any other gizmos so it's very easy to use. Having said all that, I would never go onto the moors without a compass as it is the most reliable piece of navigational equipment you can get.

If you want any other info please let me know.

Why not post a separate thread for each item? That way, people will give you a more detailed answer for each item rather than a general answer for all of them.

Of course you can ask but if you post your question in a new thread on the forum, you'll get everyone's opinion.
