Natural Bushcraft is a personal project aiming to provide a free bushcraft resource available to everyone, as many people cannot afford the prices of bushcraft instruction.
Here are some Wild Foods that are available in the UK now...

This is a great site, I teach forest schools in the Scottish Borders and have used ideas from several of your features to teach the the kids.
Keep up the good work

this site is just what ive been looking for it is fantastic. is there anyone out there that could instruct in cornwall that could possibly consider giving some of their time just for an evening with a local scout group near helston??
This is Taff Morgan (RAF Survival Instructor) .
I know a fair bit about survival (I had to put that in as my boss is sat behind me at the moment LOL), but very little about Bushcraft. I think this site is what I have been looking for for a long time. A group of like minded people who have a set of skills that they pass on for the love of it rather than to make a profit. I am currently running a course in the Mojave Desert in California(only in the hotel over the W/E while we wait for the next group of students, not doing a Bear, I swear). I look forward to meeting up with all of you in the near future and I hope that I have somthing of value to bring to the party.
Regards.
Taff
just want to say how brillant i think your site is, and that i feel the same way about people learing for free! I have been studying bush craft for about 20 years and have done some survival courses, which cost a fortune!! I would love to pass on my bushcraft skill and knowledge to people for free, but don't have any land to teach on. Can you or any one out there help, I live in Wiltshire.
Many thanks, Neil.
is there info on May 2010 week end ,date and venue.
many thank.
p.s awesome site
I have just found out the Mears is in Plymouth on the 13th March might be worth adding it to your events? www.explore-the-outdoors.com we could all meet up at the show!!!
Anyway, I've always cooked them a little like asparagus, and they are delicious with butter salt and pepper. Basic recipe is here:http://www.celtnet.org.uk/recipes/miscellaneous/fetch-recipe2.php?rid=misc-boiled-alexanders-shoots
Thanks!

Ive been struggling with my 7 units for ages and had tries everything I could think of., then I saw your note.
Please could you tell me - how much exactly did you chop off ? Does that make the springs hold the verticla gate just a little more open. and stop them blocking disks ?

I have opened an account and registered as per the Email but I can't log on...Help please...
Great site - have been looking over it for a while as I'm planning a bushcraft camping trip around the start of July. I've just returned from a turtle conservation expedition around South America for the past few years and would like to show my friends back home the enjoyment of outdoor life for an evening!
So, as im turning 30 in July im setting up an evening camping with some friends.
I have seen you have some camping sites listed and looking around it seems to be tricky to find remote sites but still accessible.
It would be great to have your advice and we would return the favour with a nice donation.
I can be contacted on leehansonuk@hotmail.com I hope to hear from you soon Ashley and keep up the good work mate!
All the best,
Carl
this site just goes from strength to strength. Just to add to your piece on the Cornwall RV, we also have lots of sausages, if any of your attendees would like a taste of the real thing....
We are having Cornwall Wildlife Trust Easter Egg/Treasure hunt here on the 11th, and a Permaculture course too, but if possible I will be getting over to Trenowth while you are there.
All best
Chris
just a quick admiration of your site, after the woodland ways weekend i thought i would come and have a look. Some very interesting articles on here BUT no mention of the limpets?!
