Hi every one.
This is Taff Morgan (RAF Survival Instructor) .
I know a fair bit about survival (I had to put that in as my boss is sat behind me at the moment LOL), but very little about Bushcraft. I think this site is what I have been looking for for a long time. A group of like minded people who have a set of skills that they pass on for the love of it rather than to make a profit. I am currently running a course in the Mojave Desert in California(only in the hotel over the W/E while we wait for the next group of students, not doing a Bear, I swear). I look forward to meeting up with all of you in the near future and I hope that I have somthing of value to bring to the party.
Regards.
Taff

Hi Ashley, love the site, nice to see people interested in the same kind of things im into. There are many sites on the web, but feel that you have put alot of thought into what you do and enjoy your videos. Well done keep up the good work!!!Just wondered,do you make a living from what you do? or is it a passion of yours that started as a hobby?

Hi guys,
just want to say how brillant i think your site is, and that i feel the same way about people learing for free! I have been studying bush craft for about 20 years and have done some survival courses, which cost a fortune!! I would love to pass on my bushcraft skill and knowledge to people for free, but don't have any land to teach on. Can you or any one out there help, I live in Wiltshire.
Many thanks, Neil.

Just been enjoying the video on Alexanders - I'd never considered eating the stems raw before, probably because I've tended to forage them in Spring when the taste is really quite strong, perhaps they are milder now?
Anyway, I've always cooked them a little like asparagus, and they are delicious with butter salt and pepper. Basic recipe is here:http://www.celtnet.org.uk/recipes/miscellaneous/fetch-recipe2.php?rid=misc-boiled-alexanders-shoots

Hey Ashley, I ran across your great little bushcraft tool video on yooutube... I am wondering if you'd be willing to sell the green mora knife you featured in the video. That was my first bushcraft knife and they have discontinued that model, I'd like to get one for posterity. Please drop me an email if you might be interested... mmbackpacker AT hot mail DoT com

Thanks!

Hi, I saw your comments elsewhere about the imation disk stakka and tracked you to here. You said about clipping the springs slightly shorter.
Ive been struggling with my 7 units for ages and had tries everything I could think of., then I saw your note.
Please could you tell me - how much exactly did you chop off ? Does that make the springs hold the verticla gate just a little more open. and stop them blocking disks ?
my email address is mark.payne @ talk21 . com

Thanks for your help

Hi Ashley
Great site - have been looking over it for a while as I'm planning a bushcraft camping trip around the start of July. I've just returned from a turtle conservation expedition around South America for the past few years and would like to show my friends back home the enjoyment of outdoor life for an evening!
So, as im turning 30 in July im setting up an evening camping with some friends.
I have seen you have some camping sites listed and looking around it seems to be tricky to find remote sites but still accessible.
It would be great to have your advice and we would return the favour with a nice donation.
I can be contacted on leehansonuk@hotmail.com I hope to hear from you soon Ashley and keep up the good work mate!

Hi Ashley, I have to agree with other comments on here that this is truly a fantastic site. I’m relatively new to Bushcraft but am very keen to learn more and this site seems to be a good starting point. I’m going to be buying a kit soon and your guide will help me loads. Do you know of any meetings in and around the West Midlands?

All the best,

Carl

Hi Ashley,

this site just goes from strength to strength. Just to add to your piece on the Cornwall RV, we also have lots of sausages, if any of your attendees would like a taste of the real thing....

We are having Cornwall Wildlife Trust Easter Egg/Treasure hunt here on the 11th, and a Permaculture course too, but if possible I will be getting over to Trenowth while you are there.

All best

Chris
