Hi Jack, it's lovely to hear your enthusiasm and I understand what you mean about getting away from the city. Having said that there really is no such thing as an intensive course that will do you any good! There's sooo much to learn with bushcraft & the outdoors that it really is a life-long learning experience. Im still lean new things about the outdoors all the time, new wild-edibles, names and uses of things.

WoodlandWays are a good bunch, say 'Hi from Ashley @ NaturalBushcraft' for me. Also remember that you don't always have to pay for knowledge and skills; I mean there is a ton of articles and videos that we offer for free!.. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and checkout all the videos. Also I would recommend hooking up with Bushcraft'folk in your area, get to know more people that are into it or go to your nearest 'meet' to meet other friendly folk that will go out camping with you, you'll be surprised how fast you pickup skills & knowledge from each other. Just to give you a little secret: there is a feature coming soon to NaturalBushcraft that will help you find other Bushcrafters in your area. All the best,

Ashley Cawley.

Hi Richard, welcome to the site. Yes myself & a few Cornish friends are mad enough to stay out all months of the year ;)

You do realise this box down at the bottom isn't actually the Chatroom?... Look at the top of this page for the big "Enter the Chatroom" link and you can enter there =) Speak soon.

NaturalBushcraft.co.uk is a project to provide a free bushcraft resource available to everyone, as many people cannot afford the prices of bushcraft instruction.

In our current climate of sustainability and natural awareness, we think it is important that this information is available to all regardless of age or status.
Best wishes
