Nice video, except that you did the sheet bend the wrong way around. You used the correct diameter rope for the knot parts, but you started going around at the standing end side of the bight (half-loop), not at the working end (short end). In plain English: at 10:58, you go around the half-loop at the top with the small rope. You should have gone around at the bottom instead, the same side as the short end. The sheet bend with the two short ends ending up at the same side of the knot is more secure than the one with the short ends at opposite sides.

For a tarp, either way of tying would probably do the job, because the loads aren't very high.

Revisit your Sheetbend technique. When passing the small line through and around the loop loop in the larger line you must first bend it around the tag end of the larger line, and not the opposite as you have done in this video. The proper technique makes for a more secure bend.
